On April 13, 2025, the high-precision bearing project of Tiejin Electromechanical with an annual output of 600 million sets was officially put into production in Fenhu. Li Ming, Secretary of the Party Committee of Wujiang District, Sun Jianjiang, Head of Wujiang District, Zhou Yu, Chairman of the China Bearing Industry Association, and Chen Zhiqiang, Chairman of Tiejin Electromechanical, and other guests jointly attended the commissioning ceremony, marking the official operation of this key project.
As a national "specialized, refined, unique and innovative" little giant enterprise, Tiejin Electromechanical focuses on the production of ultra-micro precision ball bearings with inner hole sizes ranging from 1.0 to 8.0mm. These products not only fill many gaps in the domestic market but are also widely applied in various fields such as industrial equipment, medical devices, low-altitude economy, embodied robots, and consumer electronics, becoming a model case for promoting technological innovation and industrialization development in Fenhu area.
With its strong independent research and development capabilities, the performance and reliability of its products have reached the international leading level, demonstrating the enterprise's technical strength in the field of high-end manufacturing.
The high-precision bearing project put into production this time has a total investment of approximately 680 million yuan, mainly serving the needs of fields such as new energy vehicles, industrial robots, and high-end medical devices. After the project is fully put into production, the annual output value is expected to exceed 1 billion yuan, further consolidating Tiejin Electromechanical's leading position in the industry. At the same time, this project has also become a benchmark case for the deep integration of "industry, education, and research" and the coordinated development of the innovation chain and the industrial chain in the Fenhu area.
At the commissioning ceremony, Tiejin Electromechanical released a number of new products developed for the needs of the core components of the dexterous hands of embodied robots, including harmonic reducer flexible bearings, ball screw four-point contact bearings, and coreless motor bearings and other micro-bearings. The launch of these products has achieved a technological breakthrough in domestic high-precision bearings, successfully breaking the long-term market monopoly of foreign manufacturers and significantly reducing the dependence on imported products.
The technological innovation of Tiejin Electromechanical not only provides important support for the domestic high-end manufacturing industry but also demonstrates the strong competitiveness of domestic bearings in emerging industrial fields such as new energy vehicles and embodied robots, injecting new vitality into the development of the industry.
